At a recent meeting of the Lions Club of Berowra, Wayne Tucker from the Berowra Rural Fire Service and Dave McMonnies from the Berowra Waters Rural Fire Service, were each presented with a $1200 cheque from funds raised through the Lions Op Shop. Berowra RFS will be using their money to purchase personal protection and chainsaw safety equipment and Berowra Waters RFS will be putting their money into their innovative Waterways Numbering System which provides clear and distinctive numbering for all houses and land in and around Berowra Waters and therefore assists all emergency services. |
