Objectives
Op Shop Super Saturdays are a great way for your Club or organisation to raise extra funds with no outlay or overheads. The beneficiary of a Super Saturday receives 100% of the money taken through the shop and book stall on the nominated day.
What's the catch?
There is no "catch". All we ask is that you promote the fact, among your members, families and friends, that you are having a Super Saturday and drive the customers to our shop and book stall. The more customers we get on the day, the more money we raise and give to you, the beneficiary. It's a win-win situation - we get the benefit of your publicity and you get the money.
Do you get involved on the day?
The Saturday is a normal trading day for us and some of our members will be rostered on to work in the shop. We do ask that you provide some extra helpers to run the book stall we will set up in the Market Place Plaza. Here you sell books at 50c each and at the same time promote your Club or organisation by putting up posters, handing out brochures or just getting your message out to the community. This book stall also catches passing trade and increases your profit for the day. Books at bargain prices is a great way to catch the interest of the passing shoppers. We provide the float, the tables and the books - all you need to provide is some people to serve between 10.00am and 1.00pm.
