The Op Shop is BackThe new Berowra Lions Club Op Shop will open on Saturday 20th May 2006 at 10.00 am. Come along and check out the new shop and get one of our famous sausage sandwiches for FREE. Youíll find us down-stairs at The Berowra Marketplace Shopping Centre at the rear of the underground car park or you can park outside the shop in Kita Road. The shop will stock a range of quality second-hand clothing, linen, toys, books and knick-knacks and very reasonable prices and all money raised through these sales will be turned back into community projects. This shop is a community service project managed by the Lions Club of Berowra for the benefit of the Berowra District and it will be staffed entirely by volunteers. The hours of operation will be 10.00 am to 1.00 pm, Monday to Saturday We are seeking donations of quality, saleable second-hand clothing, linen, toys, books and knick-knacks so please do not use this outlet as your free waste-disposal service Ė it costs us money to pay for rubbish removal and this reduces the funds we have available for future community projects. We are unable to stock any furniture, electricals or large house-hold items. We have also re-vamped the garden areas around the shop so that the area is a little more appealing. Sincere thanks to Cecilia Waite from the Berowra Garden Club for supplying and helping us with the planting. Thanks also to Murray Bolan from Bolanís Tree Services for supplying the mulch. This was a service project by our club to improve and tidy up the shopping precinct.. Please help us to keep it tidy by placing all rubbish in the bins provided.
